John-William Gambrell

John-William is a composer and musician based out of Boston, MA. With projects in multiple fields including theatre, film, and solo piano, he strives to create unique and evocative music.

His original musical, Toothy’s Treasure, made its Off-Broadway workshop debut earlier this year which was followed by another production at the BCA in Boston.

​

He has worked alongside PigPen Theatre Co., Marc Bruni, Carey Perloff, and Paul Daigneault among others. As a copyist and accompanist he has worked for the Huntington Theater (Boston), Old Globe Theater (San Diego) and St. Louis Rep (St. Louis).
